Philippine Cryptic Herps

In 2021, we awarded the Dr. Perry S. Ong Fellowship grant to Mr. Russell Venturina as a Conservation Research Fellow. His project Philippine Cryptic Herps aims to survey cryptic herp species in the country and investigate their taxonomy, generate a distribution map and recommend sites for conservation priorities.

This poster produced by our grantee shows the distribution map of Philippine bush frogs, cross frogs, pit vipers, and flying lizards around the country.
