Forest Foundation Conducts Financial Orientation for New Grantees

The Forest Foundation Philippines held a financial orientation for its new grantees. The activity brought together nine grantees, working on a diverse range of topics, which covers forestry, sustainable livelihoods, research, communications and advocacy.

As part of the orientation, the grantees received a briefing on the Foundation’s financial policies. This activity is in line with the Foundation’s goal to achieve a lasting and positive impact on forest protection and conservation in the country by being a responsible steward of its resources.

The following grantees attended the orientation: Bayan Academy, C3 Philippines, Community Forestry Foundation of Quirino, CordAid Philippines, DraftFCB, Impact Hub Manila, Knowledge Channel, Philippine Coffee Alliance and UST Research Center for the Natural Sciences and Applied Sciences.

The Forest Foundation Philippines, established in 2002 under the Tropical Forest Conservation Agreements signed by the governments of the United States of America and the Philippines, is a non-profit organization that provides grants to organizations that empower the people to protect the forests.
