Forest Foundation Philippines and Knowledge Channel launched season 4 of Puno ng Buhay in Manolo Fortich Central Elementary School in Bukidnon.
Puno ng Buhay is a television program which integrates science concepts and forestry to inspire young students to be advocates of forest protection and conservation. Now on its fourth season, the show features young actors Maymay Entrata and Khalil Ramos. It has six episodes for fourth and fifth graders, and supplementary instructional materials for teachers.
During the launch, Ms. Rina Lopez Bautista, President and Executive Director of Knowledge Channel, and Ms. Schenley Belmonte, Communications Officer of Forest Foundation Philippines, ceremonially turned over copies of the show to the Department of Education and the Local Government Unit.
Representing the Department of Education and the Local Government Unit were Dr. Cherry Mae Limbaco, Schools Division Superintendent, Ms. Jocelyn Flores, Public School District Supervisor, Mr. Rolly Ortiz, Supervisor, Mr. Adrian Saculingan, Principal, and Hon. Miguel Demata, Vice Mayor of Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon.
Puno ng Buhay Season 4 will air on Knowledge Channel, kchonline.ph and the Knowledge Channel portable media libraries.
