This atlas, the first of its kind in Philippine forestry, presented visual maps and spatial analyses of Community-Based Forest Management (CBFM) areas in the Philippines, highlighting land cover change and landscape fragmentation. It underscored CBFM as a government strategy that partners with local communities to sustainably manage forestlands, promote social equity, improve socio-economic conditions, and ensure access to forest resources.
